All Our Welcome

Our 120 year old parish has always been a culturally welcoming faith community and continues to be so today.  Years back, when children across our country and in Philadelphia itself would walk pass other parochial schools to attend their segregated school, all were welcome at Holy Spirit School and found it a very positive experience.  And the spirit continues today; as the song goes, "All are welcome, all are welcome, all are welcome in this place."

Since our Mission Statement says that we commit ourselves to embrace everyone with the love and compassion of Jesus, who said that "just as you did it for one of my least brothers or sisters, you did it for me", we strive to reach out in loving and giving service to the marginalized, needy and estranged and through time, talent and treasure we invite our parish family to share in God's plan to make His Kingdom present in our world both locally and globally.
